Job Description: Transformation PMO (Transformation, Transitions and Digital programs)
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to join our Enterprise Delivery team as a Transformation PMO. In this role, you will be overseeing and driving strategic initiatives aimed at transforming our legal services solutions. You will lead the establishment and management of the Project Management Office for transformational projects within the legal domain.
Your primary objective will be to support the enterprise delivery team in facilitating a smooth transition and transformation for our new clients. This will involve project governance, planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, reporting, change management, financial management and team support to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, establishing strong relationships, and providing exceptional client service. Understand the program needs and objectives and provide strategic advice and guidance.
2. Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with the organization's strategic goals. Drive the execution of transformation projects, monitoring progress against milestones, timelines, and budget.
3. Project Governance: Develop and implement governance frameworks and methodologies tailored for legal transformation projects.
4. Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, including staffing, skillset alignment, and utilization across multiple projects. Optimize resource efficiency while maintaining project quality and timelines.
5. Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues within legal transformation projects, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Monitor and resolve project issues promptly to ensure project continuity.
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish robust reporting mechanisms to track project performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management. Analyze project metrics and KPIs to assess project health and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience (7+ years) in project management within the professional services sector, managing complex transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is desirable.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
