The Merchandise Operations Management Delivery team is responsible for modernization of Global Merchandise Financial systems, as well as our Pricing and Clearance Management systems. We achieve these goals by implementing off-the-shelf solutions (Oracle Retail), which drive the ability to support key finance processes and markdown strategies. Our business customers rely on the accuracy and integrity of the solutions we provide to manage our merchandise, pay our vendors correctly and in a timely fashion and ultimately report accurate data to Wall Street.

Our team consists of over 50 Associates located across the globe, with plans to increase it now through expansion in our India office. Expanding TJX's presence in India will bring knowledge and expertise, local leadership and decision making, enabling us to deliver the right work, at the right time, in the right way. Over the next 12 months, our Indian presence will be the largest representation of the team in any global geography.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and building infrastructure for the Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) Agile Release Train (ART), which includes the following:
  • Environment Builds
  • Custom Configurations
  • Role Configurations
  • User Provisioning
  • Supporting non-prod environment activities
  • Deployments (prod and non-prod)
  • Support P1/P2 issues in production
  • Support Performance tuning activities
  • Clone and refresh activities
  • Patching Activities
  • Integration support
  • Upgrade support
  • Backups and Recovery
  • Creating backlog and implementing new innovations to support the ART, e.g. eradicate and automate non-value added processes, and optimizing existing processes.
  • Install and maintain Oracle Retail Applications like Oracle RMS (Retail Merchandising Systems), ReIM (Retail Invoice Matching), RPM (Retail Price Management), ReSA (Retail Sales Audit), Retail Integration Bus (RIB), etc. on versions 16.x or higher.
  • Install and maintain Oracle Databases on versions 19c or higher.
  • Install and maintain Oracle WebLogic systems on version 12c or higher.


Requirements:

Technical Experience:

  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Oracle Retail DBA / Oracle Retail Administration version 16.x or higher. If Oracle Retail experience is not available, resource should at least have experience on working as an Oracle Applications Administrator on similar ERP applications like Oracle E-business suite.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as Oracle Fusion Middleware Administration/Oracle WebLogic Admin – across components like WebLogic server, Enterprise Manager, RCU usage, OID / OAM etc.
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience Oracle Core Database Administration/Oracle Core DBA
  • Must have decent Unix shell scripting and PL/SQL skills.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork focus mindset
  • Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude


Nice to have:

  • DevOps / Automation skills with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
  • Replication tools such as Change Data Capture (CDC) or Golden Gate
