Position Summary & Objective The Business Analyst brings business needs together with IT resources by acting as a bridge between business systems, from the end user to the functional implementation of technical solutions. The analyst works with stakeholders from different business units and functions to identify opportunities for improvement in business processes. The analyst gathers, analyzes, communicates, and documents business needs and processes. The analyst also acts as a subject matter expert for the assigned process area and ensures that it meets business needs and achieves key performance metrics.

Essential Functions Performed by the Position Own the assigned process area and ensure that its objectives are met. Manage the ticket queue for the assigned process area. Proactively identify opportunities, recommend, and implement improvements to business process and technical solutions; build business cases to communicate the value and impact of changes to stakeholders. Perform data analytics to transform raw data into meaningful and useful information. Elicit requirements, analyze, manage, and communicate with different business units and functions such as development, sales, client services, and operations. Model and document business processes. Manage the Anti-Piracy Operations issue backlog and translate complex business requirements into epics and user stories. Perform business acceptance testing to ensure that the implementation follows the design.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication skills in face-to-face and virtual settings; proven examples of communicating across different business functions to successfully deliver a project or to contribute to one. Ability to create clear and concise documentation; proven examples of such. A good understanding of the Anti-Piracy technology, platforms in use, their purpose, interrelation, and factors for their smooth operation. Working knowledge of SQL to be able to create basic queries or modify existing ones. Strong analytical skills: proven examples of data analysis performed to improve an existing process or to suggest an improvement for one. Problem-solving skills; proven examples of facilitating problem resolution and adapting to changes. Analytical and critical thinking; ability to deconstruct and analyze complex structures, and approach them in a clear, rational, and open-minded manner, which is informed by evidence. Efficient management of both standard and ad hoc projects/tasks, while working on multiple projects in parallel. Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations with incomplete information. Excellent English in both verbal and written forms.

Required Education and Experience University degree or equivalent work experience. Experience in visual modeling; proven examples of creating workflow diagrams, wireframes, system architecture diagrams or other visual models. Experience working in a globally geo-diverse company.
