Job Description:- 1. Taking responsibility for the planning and execution of financial duties and projects of a company. 2. Preparing financial statements, reports, and forecasts for the business to ensure financial stability. 3. Drafting budgets, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and reports required by regulatory authorities. 4. Managing the risks involved in the financial activities of the business. 5. Estimating short and long-term financial objectives by setting performance targets. 6. Compiling financial reports and supervising month-end processes. 7. Managing and monitoring metrics, KPI tracking, and reports for the financial department. 8. Evaluate the financial performance of the organization and measure returns on investments. 9. Providing training to staff members regarding financial processes. 10. Account payable booking in timely manner. 11. Outgoing payment booking in timely manner. 12. Timely booking of incoming sales proceeds. 13. Oversee the accounting part of sales and delivery processes. 14. Ability to understand basics of taxes including VAT, income tax, employees’ tax etc. 15. Timely preparation of cash position report for management. 16. Reconciliation of banks, vendors and customers GLs. 17. Understanding of capital and revenue expenditure and their treatment in books of account. 18. Understanding the concept of JV and its booking in time bound manner. 19. Understanding of cost accounting concepts and applications of those concepts in day to day operations. 20. Relevant IT proficiencies like MS office, SAP etc. 21. Ability to prepare adhoc reports for management. 22. Basic knowledge of IFRS. 23. Fixed Asset register and verification. 24. Good knowledge of Production Cost Sheet.
