About the Job: We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Email Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our growing security team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization from email-borne threats by leveraging your expertise in industry-renowned email security tools and solutions.
Job Title: Email Security
Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Noida, Chennai, Pune
Educational Background : Post graduation/bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Engineering
Key Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and manage our email security infrastructure, including cloud-based and on-premises solutions (if applicable).
Stay current on the latest email security threats, trends, and best practices.
Provide ongoing configuration and optimization of our email security tools to maximize protection.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing of the email security environment.
Partner with the IT and Security teams to develop and implement robust email security policies and procedures.
Analyze email security incidents, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders on email security best practices.
Participate in threat intelligence gathering and incorporate findings into email security strategies.
Monitor and maintain email security logs for suspicious activities.
Stay up to date on the latest email security technologies and solutions, evaluating and recommending new tools as needed.
Qualifications:
5-6 years of experience in email security administration and operations.
Proven experience working with renowned email security tools and solutions (e.g., Avanan, Mimecast, Proofpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office, Barracuda, etc.).
In-depth understanding of email security threats, including phishing, malware, spam, and spoofing.
Strong understanding of email security protocols (e.g., SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) a plus.
Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security) a plus.
