Job Overview:

As the Culinary Manager, you will be at the forefront of our kitchen operations, developing innovative menus that align with our commitment to sustainability. This is an incredible opportunity to use your culinary skills in a fast-paced, dynamic, and socially-conscious environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of consistent, high-quality dishes.
• Design and implement seasonal menus that showcase locally-sourced, sustainable ingredients.
• Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Manage food costs, inventory, and procurement processes in line with our sustainability ethos.
• Collaborate with the management team to create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
• Uphold and enforce kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
• Build relationships with local vendors and suppliers to source the best sustainable produce.
• Keep up-to-date with culinary trends and techniques, particularly those relating to sustainable dining.
• Act as an ambassador for TOVO's mission and values in all aspects of your role.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Culinary Manager, Head Chef, or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Passionate about sustainable and locally-sourced cooking.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations, including food cost management and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Fluency in the local language and English.
