Sr. Lead Engineer As a lead, your primary role will be to build products and services for Airtel’s growth. You will be spending better part of the time in development and writing technical documents. You will solve business problems at scale, work on existing and new repositories, review code, write design documents and help in resolving customer issues. As senior lead, you will build and mentor engineering teams and deliver on below : Technical Expertise : Provide guidance on technical and functional aspects of project and take decisions. You will setup and execute best practices in application architecture, development, code reviews, performance, deployment and execution by owning end-to-end business deliveries Innovation and continuous learning. : You will build culture of innovation and continuous improvement in your team. You will encourage and adopt new technology and emerging industry trends and methods for improving efficiency of your team Communication and Collaboration : You will facilitate communication within the engineering teams and stakeholders including quality, operations, product and program to ensure alignment for business goals. You will address technical issues in teams and promote positive working environment Team Management : Conduct performance review and setup constructive feedback loop for team members along with Engineering Managers. You will be responsible for hiring new members for effectively meeting organizational goals and deadlines Project Management : You will be part of overall planning by providing correct estimation and execution of engineering projects and ensure their timely delivery.
