Roles & Responsibilities: Provide 24 x 7 Production Support to mission critical JAVA Applications hosted on Middleware platform. Participate in Oracle Weblogic Server configuration on Solaris and Linux operating systems. Create Weblogic Server Clustered and nonClustered environments to provide Load balancing and Failover. Setting up a High Availability Environments using external Hardware F5 load balancer Apache Web servers http Session replications and Clustering of Weblogic Server & Services like JDBC JMS etc. Integration of Weblogic with various backend web services. Life cycle management of Production servers which includes nightly and weekly rolling bounce of various WLS and Apache Web servers across multiple data centers. Interact with various stakeholders and understand technical requirements pertaining to Middleware infrastructure services. Support application infrastructure support for development testing and production environments. Participate in Performance test runs analyze performance statistics and recommend and implement tuning of production environment at java virtual machine operating system & database level. Integrating the Weblogic testing environment with Jprofiler. Writing shell Scripts and adding to Cron job to automate daily maintenance tasks like log rotation report transfer Server Rolling bounce file system cleanups and alerts etc. Writing WLST scripts for automation of Weblogic administrative tasks. Automation of migrating Weblogic environment from Development to testing to Production. Monitoring the Health of Weblogic servers in Production for all business applications. Provide necessary support to developers to debug complex code issues by analyzing server and application logs taking thread dump and heap dumps. Weblogic & JDK upgrade in development testing and production environment and applying patch and service packs. Participate in Disaster Recovery exercise to ensure high availability and failover of production systems. Install maintenance and security patches in apache web servers and Weblogic Application servers. JDBC Connection Pool and Multipool configuration with Oracle and setting up alerts on server. SSL configuration ordering new & renewal of existing SSL certificates. Configure NewRelic/Splunk to get timely alerts and monitor to ensure availability of services.
