Position Overview: As a Greystar India instructional designer, you will be vital in designing and developing high-quality instructional materials and content for various educational and training programs. Working remotely or in a Greystar office, you will collaborate closely with US-based instructional designers, subject matter experts, and project managers to create engaging and effective learning experiences. Responsibilities: Design: Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences for target audiences. Analysis: Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to conduct needs assessments and identify learning objectives. Development: Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, videos, simulations, assessments, and other interactive learning resources. Create detailed storyboards outlining the structure, flow, and interactions of the instructional content. Integration: Incorporate multimedia elements such as images, audio, video, and interactive components into instructional materials. Management System (LMS): Work with the HRIS team to ensure proper integration and delivery of instructional content within Workday Greystar’s LMS. Assurance: Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews to ensure the accuracy, functionality, and adherence to instructional design standards of developed materials. Management: Collaborate with project managers to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality instructional content within the allocated budget and time frame of projects. and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest instructional design trends, technologies, and methodologies to continuously improve the learning experiences. and Communication: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with global teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather feedback, resolve issues, and ensure project success. Qualifications and Skills: A bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, instructional technology, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree in instructional design or a related discipline is preferred. Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of instructional design principles, theories, and methodologies. Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) or SAM (Successive Approximation Model) is essential. Proficiency: Proficiency in using instructional design software tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or similar e-learning authoring tools. Knowledge of multimedia editing software and tools like Adobe Photoshop, Audacity, or Camtasia is beneficial. Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with learning management systems and experience in integrating instructional content into LMS platforms. Knowledge of SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) and other e-learning standards is desirable. Design Skills: Ability to incorporate multimedia elements into instructional materials effectively. Experience with designing and editing graphics, audio, and video content is beneficial for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences. Management Abilities: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
