Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for sales and marketing of our services including, research reports and subscription sales, news website and magazine advertising and sponsorship sales and communication services. The right candidate should be able to develop marketing presentation materials, sales proposals, make sales calls constantly, use social media for marketing, manage advertisement calendars, create advertising materials as needed and other general marketing tasks as necessary.


We are looking for a candidate that is motivated, organized and detail-oriented, is a self-starter, problem solver and has a positive attitude, and someone who is a team player that will care about the brands we are creating. We want someone who is passionate about sales with a history of “closing the sale” and wants to push things forward every day in a positive way. The candidate should also be passionate about clean energy and the environment.

     ·        Developing and implementing marketing campaigns

        ·        Driving sales initiatives, including the generation and conversion of leads

        ·        Email marketing experience

        ·        Must have experience developing marketing collateral using Adobe InDesign

        ·        Experience developing marketing presentations

        ·        Knowledge of basic HTML and WordPress

        ·        Must well be versed in professional email communications

        ·        Must be ready to make as many calls as needed in a day professionally for sales and relationship building

        ·        Determine objectives of your event, planning committee and task assignments Establish your needs - Number of attendees and Key dates, Establish a preliminary budget and solicit sponsorship, Prepare and send Request for Proposal (RFP) Create a marketing plan, Send “Save the Date” notices via email , Begin agenda format planning , Additional contracts (like hotel accommodations, transportation, equipment rental, Prepare session/speaker proposal submission form and distribute, Identify and secure speakers and their travel/housing arrangements , Begin promoting conference theme, location and registration rates, Compile all information for registration site ,Deadline for proposals to be received by the management, Review proposals, select sessions and notify accepted and declined proposers , Open registration and housing reservations to attendees , Finalize program, speakers & agenda, update website , Determine final print date , Prepare “Day of Coordination” list , Prepare session and post-event survey , Send reminders to speakers, Print signage and distribute printed or digital program , Hold pre-conference meeting and walk-through , Send email update to participants/speakers, Send sponsor and VIP thank you letters, Send post-event survey , Have a post-conference meeting with key players
