A senior leader with 16+ years of experience, who can provide strategic and operational leadership required for all the inbound and outbound logistics activities ensuring the correct quantity with timely delivery so as to meet the production / dispatch targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:-
- On time delivery of raw materials like Bauxite, Coal, HFO, Caustic, etc.
- Actual v/s budgeted cost of logistics
- Embracing of Newer Technologies, Digitalization & Innovation, Benchmarking & Analytics as they will remain the key success factors
- Focus on reducing the punitive & demurrage cost
- Policy advocacy
- Strategic action plan and manage logistics transportation
- Keep a track of quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Strategic connects with railway authorities, RPF and adjoining villages opinion makes to ensure smooth transportation
- Exposure in both rail & road logistics with focus on cost and productivity
- Compliance with the laws/regulation
Functional Skills:-
