Location: PAN INDIA

Work Experience: 1 to 5 years.


Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Safety Compliance

(a) Analyze, Review and Lead the circle in implementing safety protocols including training

(b) Conduct safety audit of critical technical and office locations on an annual basis for compliance with ISO 45001 & 14001 and other national and international OHS and fire standards as specified by the Government, customer, regulatory and legal bodies.

(c) Work in tandem with audit teams and facilitate a smooth audit of critical facilities . Minimum one joint audit per quarter must be carried out.

(d) Preparation of site wise risk analysis and their mitigation plans.

(e) Monitor non compliances and follow up with circle teams until closure in a defined time frame.

(f) Mentoring circle security and facility teams to provide a safe working environment to internal and external customers.

(g) Create training material including AV content for OHS training of employees.

(h) Coordinate/conduct training sessions at circle. Coordinate in advance for maximum attendance.

(i) Monitor all accidents and near misses and carry out RCA in each case.


2. Occupational Health and Safety

(a) Lead the OHS function for the circle.

(b) Ensure all new employees are informed of their health and safety responsibilities, procedures, rules and regulations;

(c) Assuring that required equipment and personal protective devices are provided, maintained, and used;

(d) Providing for/organise health and safety training and education on a continuing basis;

(e) Investigating and reporting all on-the-job accidents promptly and requesting medical treatment when necessary

(f) Investigating and reporting all job-related health or safety problems promptly;

(g) Coordinating or conducting internal inspections to assure safe and healthful working conditions.

(h) Perform routine visits of the worksite to identify hazards and to track identified hazards until they are corrected.

(i) Study and incorporate safety requirements at the design stage while developing or taking over facilities. technical and office premises.

(j) Lead the OHS aspects related to ESG and BRSR.

3. Fire & Disaster Management

(a) Lend active support to circle by leveraging liaison during exigencies. Liaison with Disaster Management Teams/NDRF, Fire Department and other emergency services must be done during visit to circle.

(b) Lay down roadmap for modernization and integration of fire sensors and fire mitigation and control systems.

4. Miscellaneous

· Monitor all projects being rolled out pertaining to safety.

· Any other role as assigned by the management.

5. Requirements:-

(a) Minimum a graduate/preferably post graduate in Safety related subjects.

(b) CQI-IRCA certified Lead Auditor ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and NEBOSH certified are preferred.

(c) Prior experience in the OHS function in manufacturing and service sectors would be an advantage

(d) Good communication skills including knowledge of MS Powerpoint and Excel.
