Roles & Responsibilities


Market Research and Analysis:


  • Stay updated on the latest sports industry trends, including emerging technologies, players, and market dynamics.
  • Analyze market potential and identify niche opportunities for business growth within the sports sector.


Relationship Building:


  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sports organizations, teams, athletes, sponsors, and relevant industry partners.
  • Leverage your existing sports network to open doors and create new business collaborations.


Business Strategy:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.

Identify potential partners and clients, and create strategic plans to engage and convert them.


Partnerships and Sponsorships:


  • Identify and negotiate partnership and sponsorship opportunities that enhance the company's brand visibility and revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to create compelling proposals for potential partners.


Sales and Revenue Generation:


  • Drive sales efforts to secure new clients and partnerships within the sports sector.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets through effective relationship management and deal closing.


Event and Campaign Participation :


  • Participate in sports-related events, conferences, and exhibitions to showcase the company's offerings and expand the network.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns targeting sports enthusiasts.


Client Engagement:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sports-related clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions to address their unique challenges.


Data Analysis and Reporting:


  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to refine business strategies and improve decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports outlining progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.


Collaboration and Communication:


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure a cohesive approach to sports-related initiatives.


Salary: 25-35K + Incentives


Preferred candidate profile


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).

Proven experience in business development or sales within the sports industry.

Strong passion for sports with an understanding of industry trends and dynamics.

Established network and connections within the sports community.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

Results-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Ability to travel for client meetings, events, and industry conferences
