Reliance Industries Limited Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India (On-site) Reliance Project Management Group (RPMG) is the in-house project management arm of Reliance Industries’ Oil-to-Chemicals business. The unit is responsible for managing Reliance’s capital projects while also executing a large number of de-bottlenecking and small projects to enhance the value of existing assets. About the Role: Job Purpose : To manage design in task force or in a team and to accomplish assigned task of detailed engineering (mid projects, multiple small projects) within time frame and budget while meeting quality standards and ensuring safety in compliance with standards and statutory requirements. Job Accountabilities Ensure execution of the task assigned to team as per schedule and expected quality and productivity. Review and prepare engineering deliverables like requisition and data sheets, technical evaluation, vendor print for field instrument and control systems (e.g. DCS, ESD, F&G, MCMS etc.) engineering wiring connection diagram, MTO for construction design, instrument layout and construction drawing, instrument index, level coordination and interface deliverables. Size and select instruments. Prepare and review I/O summary for control systems like DCS, ESD, F&G and inputs for system configuration like I/O data base, logic diagram, wiring connection list, etc. Contribute in HAZOP, SIL, 3D Model, FAT, Site Visits. Define Scope of Work and Supply, evaluation and vendor print review for packages items. Skills Required Proficient in tools like SPI (IN Tools) & sizing software for control valves, flow elements, thermowell, restriction orifice. Knowledge of codes and standards and statutory requirements Technical competence to perform detailed engineering activities related to field instruments, instruments valves, analysers, control systems, and instrument construction design so as to coordinate technical issues with client / other departments during course of the project. Proficient in understanding the scope of work and able to assist in estimation of man-hour requirements for assigned projects. Qualifications and Experience Engineering Degree in Instrumentation and Control System from any accredited college or university. 5-12 years minimum of which 3yrs in Instrumentation Engineering in the Hydrocarbon Industry Certification in Functional Safety or Cyber Security is preferred.
