Project Manager

Qualification: BE Mech/Chemical Engineering Exp: 8 to 12 years

Primary functions: Manage Projects effectively – aligning to all the Desmet process and procedures for Project management Time Management Develop & Update Schedule (project, entity) Establish Progress Measurement System & check completion status Set up a recovery/mitigation plan Cost / Status Management Update the project cost forecast Follow-up & update project status Follow-up purchase orders & take appropriate action with procurement to resolve Update the invoicing schedule Responsible for Accounts receivable for own Projects Manage client change order for scope add-ons impacts – get the same approved as per DB standards Perform reconciliation analyses in case of overrun Management project cost reporting Claim Management Coordinate and handle any claim received by client Coordinate and submit claim to subcontractors and vendors Human Resources Management Acquire Project Resource & Manage Allocation – PE, E& I team and Procurement Executive, Site team members, etc., Effective collaboration with internal DB stake holders for Process Engg, Detailed Engg, Procurement, Logistics and CS Manage Project Team Contract management and legal obligation Develop & review Project Proposal Document Manage & track technical changes Project Plan & Administration Develop & Update Project Management Plan Manage project administrative activities (incl. Reporting, data reconciliation...) Create Project WBS structure Project Close-out Debriefing of at least 3 - 5 important and completed projects every year, as and when these projects are handed over to client. Ensuring that we have clean handover of all projects. No major points should be pending before sign-off

Monitor fabrication status in workshop for own projects and co-ordinate with Workshops and QA team to meet delivery schedules for own Project. Direct responsibility of ensuring that Project ERP system is up to date for all their own Projects. Value engineering support to the Project Management team to reduce the costs based on your previous experience.

Cost estimation for RFQ based or Non-standard enquiries Support the Sales Quotation team by providing best estimates for bought outs, services, and other miscellaneous items from past experience or by collecting offers from suppliers.
