Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for PeopleSoft applications, including PeopleCode, SQR, and SQL components. Perform functional testing, system testing, regression testing, and integration testing to validate application functionality. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and test scenarios. Conduct data validation, data integrity checks, and data reconciliation in PeopleSoft databases. Identify, document, and track defects, issues, and enhancement requests using testing tools and issue-tracking systems. Provide production support on an on-call basis, troubleshoot issues, and assist in resolving defects and production incidents. Participate in product support activities, including bug fixes, enhancements, and system configurations. Assist in development activities as needed, including code reviews, debugging, and scripting tasks. Maintain test documentation, test plans, test cases, and test results for audit and reference purposes. Stay updated with PeopleSoft tools, technologies, and industry best practices related to testing and quality assurance. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft testing methodologies, including functional testing, system testing, and regression testing. Strong knowledge of PeopleCode, SQR, and SQL for testing and validation activities. Unix and Automic Workload Administration are preferred. Experience with test planning, test case development, and test execution in PeopleSoft environments. Ability to perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data integrity checks. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects and issues. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 modules, payroll testing, and additional testing expertise. Knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and practices. Experience with testing tools and frameworks for automation and test management. Understanding of product support activities, bug fixing, and system enhancements. Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams. Individuals should be able to manage testing responsibilities while providing support and assistance in development activities as required. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree / equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. 3-6 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
