Procurement Manager - India

Nabati Food Pte Ltd (previously Enerlife) is a business partner of the Nabati Group, which is engaged in sales, marketing, & distribution for international businesses. It handles sales, marketing, and distribution for international ventures. Our products are already available in more or less 17 countries. In India alone, we operate a manufacturing facility situated in Chennai.

The Procurement Manager position will entail overseeing and managing the entirety of the procurement and purchasing process, covering both direct and indirect materials. Responsibilities will include :

• strategizing to secure cost-effective deals and suppliers, selecting vendors, conducting tenders, negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, budgeting, and implementing cost-saving initiatives
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures in the purchasing process and execution is also essential.

Requirements :

• Minimum hold a Bachelor's degree in any major
• Proven experience in procurement and purchasing management, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the FMCG or food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage procurement processes, including sourcing, supplier management, and quality assurance.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers/vendors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
• Willing to be placed in Chennai, India
