Role and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent for our firm.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to candidate selection to offer negotiation and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, conduct interviews, and negotiate offers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry influencers to expand the talent pool.
  • Collaborate with marketing and HR team to create compelling employer branding materials and recruitment campaigns.
  • Proactively anticipate staffing needs and develop talent pipelines for current and future openings.
  • Ensure 100% efficiency in the onboarding process and maintain procedures and policies relating to onboarding and hiring at all times.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leadership on HR-related issues, providing guidance and proactive support at all times.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions between employees or departments.

Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers in conducting effective performance reviews and addressing performance issues.
  • Identify opportunities for employee development and career growth, collaborating with managers to implement relevant training and development programs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovative measurement, methodology and tools for the best outcomes on performance management.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Proactively develop, maintain, implement, and enforce HR policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting HR practices and ensure the company's policies remain current, compliant and evangelized immediately.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct, ensuring fair and consistent resolution in line with company policies and values.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR analytics to track key metrics related to recruitment, retention, employee engagement, employee attrition, performance and spend.
  • Generate reports and insights to inform strategized decision-making and identify areas for improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven 11-15 years of experience in HR leadership roles within the IT industry (India & US), with a focus on talent acquisition, employee retention and performance management.
  • Understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements in India and US with PEO.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills and ability to remain flexible and humble while working with stakeholders across the globe and in multiple time zones.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Hands-on having worked with start-up and growth companies alike.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, ATS onboarding is preferable and proficiency in HR analytics is a must.
