Job Description:

As an Investment Banking Manager, you will assume a central role in guiding our projects towards successful outcomes. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive planning, resource allocation, and meticulous oversight of each capital raise and investment initiative. Your goal will be to ensure efficient execution of projects from start to finish while upholding our company’s objectives and strategic ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and Project Management: Strategically allocate resources for each project, managing capital raise and investment initiatives with diligence.
• Team Management: Lead your team with consistent work allocation, supervising tasks, and evaluating performance to ensure productivity and adherence to company standards.
• Compliance and Reporting: Review staff work for compliance with company goals. Submit detailed weekly and monthly MIS reports to Management on project progress.
• Strategic Analysis: Analyze commercial, strategic, and financial facets of companies to pinpoint key investment opportunities. Develop thorough Information Memorandums and Board Presentations for investor pitches.
• Investor Relations: Work closely with entrepreneurs on enhancing presentation quality. Organize mock drills for presentations and FAQs to guarantee readiness.
• Deal Sourcing: Identify opportunities in startup funding, PE funding, global M&A, and Debt funding. Utilize a proactive approach to source and vet potential deals.
• Securing Term Sheets: Efficiently manage the process of securing term sheets for projects, ensuring clear communication and alignment of interests between all parties.
• Due Diligence Assistance: Oversee and assist in the due diligence process, coordinating with financial and legal advisors for a thorough evaluation and documentation.
• Negotiation and Closing: Take an active role in negotiation processes and the finalization of Shareholder Agreements (SHA) and other related documents, ensuring favorable terms for our clients.
• Transaction Analysis: Understand the intricacies of letters of interest, MOUs, and term sheets. Evaluate transactions based on valuation, deal structure, and terms & conditions.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial forecasting, operational metrics tracking, and build financial models for decision-making support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in investment banking, finance, or a related area, with a track record of managerial success.
• Proficient in financial modeling, analysis, and valuation methods.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Capable of handling pressure and managing multiple projects concurrently.
