People Engagement Specialist

This role will be responsible for executing end-to-end HR engagement strategy for Bijak and ensuring the best practices are being followed. Would be expected to bring-in fresh ideas relevant in today’s time to engage our remote & onsite team members, and act as an engine to stakeholders by being a problem solver.

The incumbent should be thorough in developing process excellence and processes, should possess a strong analytical mindset, good communication skills, strong stakeholder & vendor management, attention to detail and the desire to continuously improve the efficiency of the processes.



Key Responsibilities


  • Establishing Bijak’s culture and vision through people engagement efforts such as focus group discussions, and 1-1 connects
  • Creating surveys to measure team satisfaction and morale, and distributing them internally through various communication channels such as slack, email, phone call prompts etc.
  • Suggest and execute programs to promote engagement through various people engagement activities
  • Ensure prompt resolution of people queries & maintaining joyful team experience and be a driving force to people morale and high-performance culture.
  • Own and proactively drive the Onboarding process for all the new joiners. Manage the early life engagement for any new joiner till 90 days.
  • First point of contact for new team members and hiring manager from onboarding standpoint
  • Ensure new team member data collected at onboarding stage reaches HR ops accurately & in timely manner
  • Support in other HR operation activities like Medical Insurance, Background Verification etc.
  • Conducting exit interviews with departing team members


Candidate Profile


  • 3 to 7 years of relevant HR experience with core background in People Engagement and onboarding
  • Ability to adjust strategies and approach in response to changing business needs and team member feedback
  • Result oriented, Interpersonal sensitivity, team player and a go-getter
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and has excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and agile pace of working
  • High learning agility and with good business acumen
  • Great communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven project management and strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of HRIS tools would be preferred
  • Strong ability to carry out assigned tasks independently
