About the role:
The Consumer Marketing Team at TMB is looking for a Marketing Analyst. This position will report to the Senior Director of Marketing and be responsible for campaign analytics as well as supporting on strategy.
About you:
The ideal candidate for this role has an analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of direct marketing principles. In addition, you possess a collaborative spirit and have strong presentation and communication and thrive on an opportunity to present to senior leadership and build relationships.
Your day-to-day:
  • Perform independent campaign analysis, creating hypotheses and optimization opportunities for future campaigns – Proactively identify and evaluate new campaign opportunities and convert them into short-term or long-term projects
  • Monitor and manage campaign analytics including performance tracking, summarize information without errors, supporting all renewal and gift activity across magazine and book product lines
  • Prepare campaign / monthly reporting and re-forecasting of campaign results as needed
  • Collaborate actively with broader marketing, creative and data teams to ensure successful execution of day-to-day activities
  • Participate in departmental or cross-team meetings to communicate results and issues
  • Support the Senior Managers / Directors with delivery of ongoing projects
  • Execute reporting using calculations in Microsoft Excel, using functions such as pivot tables, vlookups, IF formulas and data filters
  • Perform general data analysis, looking into trends and identifying potential discrepancies and errors
You have:
  • BA (Marketing or Business Administration) required
  • 3-4+ years’ experience in Consumer Marketing as an analyst or marketer
    • Prior media and/or subscription experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience with campaign performance analytics such as but not limited to variance to plan analysis, Indices / test result analysis and Profit / LTV analysis
  • Problem-solving skills, with an exceptional ability to digest new information, master new techniques and translate knowledge to others in a fast-paced environment
  • An ability to prioritize and organize issues / projects for self, internal team, and external partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft suite of products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
