Aquis Search has been briefed on an exciting AVP HRBP role with a prestigious global financial services firm in Pune.

This role would be the ideal fit for a seasoned HRBP with 8-10 years of financial services experience, adept critical thinking skills, and exemplary communication skills. The incumbent will directly engage with international stakeholders, provide mentorship to fellow AVPs, and play a crucial role in business partnering.

Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic senior HR professional to support our client's India office which is growing at a transformational rate, with mid office and front office role across all asset management classes. If you are passionate about people management, talent development, and helping manage a leading-edge asset management business, this could be the right fit for you.

The AVP HR will be an entrepreneurial, motivated and commercially-minded leader who will partner with business heads to help drive business results, while creating and strengthening a differentiated culture and high talent organization. This is an important role with excellent visibility for future growth and is currently envisioned at the Assistant Vice President level.

Specific Responsibilities :

  • Develop our client's identity as a responsible employer, in terms of career opportunities, people development, compensation, diversity and work environment.
  • Address the larger challenges of the inorganic business growth within the region in terms of leadership culture, performance management, and people engagement.
  • Support organization change as our client meets the challenges of hyper-growth across businesses.
  • Enhance our client's competitiveness by maintaining critical staffing levels and talent profiles.
  • Support India’s strategy and transformation by driving a high-performance culture and working on skill development and enhancement.
  • Provide HR support to the India business to ensure the alignment of HR initiatives with business strategy and local regulations, including a full spectrum of advice and guidance in relation to the employee lifecycle and operational implementation of the global HR strategy and its roll out to our client group.

Qualifications, Experience, Education:

  • A Master’s in human resources/Equivalent qualification from an accredited business school
  • 8-10 years of experience in talent management, HR operations, with 6+ years of experience as a business partner in high growth environments
  • People centric and "roll up your sleeves", solutions-oriented mindset and work style
  • Experience partnering with senior level leaders to guide and implement people strategy.

Work Environment : Hybrid setup (3 days in/ 2 days out) with flexibility in timings
