Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a focus on subscription revenue, customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, churn rate, and other SaaS metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations in India, including GST filing, tax preparation, and ensuring all company financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and prepare accurate financial statements that comply with accepted policies and standards.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for the timely completion of audit processes, and ensure the preparation of financial statements in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis efforts, providing strategic insights and recommendations to the management team and key stakeholders.
  • Manage and optimize operational costs, maximizing efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
  • Supervise and lead finance team members, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth.



Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
