RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinating with various internal teams to obtain financial and operational data, analyzing the same, and providing insights and recommendations for a course of action.
  • Looking into the revenues and costs of various group entities and providing cost reduction and pricing strategies.
  • Preparing management financials, including projections for various group entities
  • Prepare reports for management and advise on actions/ decisions to be taken.
  • Looking into alternative investment opportunities, creating pitch decks, and assisting the Office availing such investments.
  • Closing of accounts, including preparation/checking of various ledgers and sub-ledgers; monitoring, checking, and ensuring complete and correct accounting of all transactions.
  • Providing data to banks/financial institutions for credit facilities, ensuring legal documentation, and complying with pre- and post-disbursement formalities.
  • Monitoring timely deductions and payments, filing returns with statutory liabilities/dues (TDS, TCS, GST, PT, PF, etc.), filing relevant periodic Returns, etc.
  • Helped prepare MIS reports and provided feedback to top management.
  • Preparing Invoices and tracking receivables/ payables, ensuring effective Vendor management through a robust Payment System.
  • Ensuring timely payment and filing of direct taxes & returns


Desired Qualifications:

  • Qualified CA/MBA
  • Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting is preferred. The candidate should be able to handle independently the entire gamut of Direct Taxation, Indirect tax, Income tax, Tax planning, and Compliance.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software, such as Quickbooks; extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); in particular, ability to financial model with Excel
  • Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills; experience compiling data and financial information
