Analytics Manager

About noon noon, the region's leading consumer commerce platform. On December 12th, 2017, noon launched its consumer platform in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, expanding to Egypt in February 2019. The noon ecosystem of services now includes marketplaces for food delivery, quick-commerce, fintech, and fashion. noon is a work in progress; we’re six years in, but only 5% done. noon’s mission: Ring every doorbell, everyday. The ideal candidate will have strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence. The ability to communicate effectively, which, is essential for the person to succeed in this role. The Manager’s goal will be to help the business use data to drive high performance and quality while ensuring costs are in check using SQL, Excel, R, and Python. Implementing tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights. • Understand business needs and objectives • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting • Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources • Select, configure and, implement analytics solutions • Lead and develop a team of data analysts • Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality • Extract reports from multiple sources (e.g. operations, IT, customer feedback) • Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance • Keep abreast of industry news and trends What you'll need: • Proven experience as an Analytics Manager • Solid experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus • Background in market research and project management with superb communication skills • Knowledge of Excel, R and, SQL; familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS) • Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities with attention to detail • Problem-solving aptitude Who will excel? • We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters. • You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action. • We need people with the courage to be fiercely original. • noon is not for everyone; readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn is essential.
