Motion Designer

Job description You are passionate about creativity and bringing design to life through videos. You can look at any graphic medium or form and give it motion in ways that move people. Films, images, animation, illustration, type, music and others are tools in your creation. You keenly follow and stay abreast of the best motion and film work happening in the world at the moment. What You’ll Be Doing Independently driving the entire motion design process including art direction, planning, motion/story boarding and realising films of all lengths. This will involve establish world-class benchmarks for each variety of film being developed Partner with creative and production teams on projects to design, edit and publish finished films for internal and external work across traditional and non-traditional branded content Actively engage in each stage of post-production, including footage editing, sound design and mix, light motion graphics, and more Bring an advanced understanding of format variations involved in making films for social, mobile, web, broadcast and other formats Collaborate and work with diverse teams to deliver time sensitive projects is critical to this role Essentials: You have about 2-4 years of experience developing motion graphics/films across formats preferably within a creative agency or production house environment. However, this isn’t mandatory and your creative portfolio more than your background will be the clincher for us. Advanced knowledge of After Effects along with a good working knowledge of Premiere, Photoshop and Illustrator. Any knowledge of 3D animation will be a plus. Technical knowledge involved in post-production – digital camera formats, aspect ratios, basics of compositing, color correction, mixing, and motion graphics among others A formal diploma, degree or masters in Design will be an advantage Location:  This is a full time role based out of our office in Mumbai.
