The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, manuals, references, or instructions. This candidate should have strong communication skills which enable them to explain complicated concepts in a simple manner. This individual will also meet with customer representatives frequently in order to understand required content.
Responsibilities
You deliver documentation for all initiatives (feature, concept, procedure etc.). The content that you create is a great example for our customers in terms of accuracy, discoverability, relevance, usability, organization, and writing quality. The documentation that you create increases customer satisfaction with the features or workflows.
2. You advocate for customers, Influence feature and workflow improvements based on continuous customer feedback. You work across teams to help design and build better CX and UX.
3. You are knowledgeable about the tools (e.g., authoring/publishing tools and mark-up languages) and best practices (e.g., accessibility, consistency, discoverability, and readability) used by your team. You know when to apply existing standards and when to innovate, combine, or alter them for an even better result.
4. You have strong written and verbal communication skills. Your writing is of good quality with minimal copy editing needed. You follow the style guidelines recommended by your team. You utilize customer-centric writing, design, and research methodologies.
5. You manage the content (text, videos, illustrations and other visual communications) directly provided on the Carrier Logistics tool via the Help section (managed on Symphony tool).
