Business Development Executive (Japanese)

Location: Bengaluru/Long term Japan

Experience Level: 6-12 years


Job Responsibilities:

  • Able to understand/analyze the requirements and propose/discuss appropriate solutions.
  • Able to bridge the gap of language between customer and team.
  • Able to translate the documents/mails from customer and share to team.
  • Able to understand customer Voice of Customer and bring it to light at right point and right stake holders.
  • Understand Toshiba expertise and promote it to customer based on customer requirement
  • Presales activities such as arranging meetings / visiting customer often and follow up the status of their enquires. Email communications with customer for clarifications.
  • Explore new business possibilities at customer by understanding their needs, by promoting our strength.
  • Negotiate with both team and customer for keep cost/schedule/priorities based on customer requirements.


Required Skills:

  • Qualification: Degree/Masters
  • JLPT: N2 or N1 desired (N3 with high-level language skills can be considered)
  • Business Development/Account Management experience
  • Industry experience 6 years or more
  • Direct Japanese customer interaction 3 years or more
  • Bridging experience for at least 3 years or more
  • Technical experience of 2 years or more
  • Desire to stay long-term in Japan
  • AI project coordination experience
