Job Description : Qualification: BE Chemical / DIFAT Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in industries like Alco-Bev Purpose of the role: The role is responsible for handling the molasses plant operations at Nanded units of Diageo India and includes activities around performance reporting, SQDCM KPI review, RM and manpower management, month-end closures and reporting, supporting audits, tracking cost sheets, and ensuring compliance. The candidate should be able to provide meaningful insights on all aspects of unit operations, like production overheads, asset maintenance, productivity savings, handling and driving conversations with various stakeholders at the unit and head office. Knowledge & skills: 1. Knowledge of MPR distillation, evaporation, ZLD and Spirit Business – Molasses & Grain ENA 2. Thorough Knowledge of Manex culture Quality, EHS norms, Laws pertaining to Excise & SPCB 3. Functional knowledge of materials management / Asset maintenance / SAP / Excise Records 4. High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment High level of consistency in delivering results 5. Manpower management and communication skills AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY : 1. Lead direct, evaluate, and develop a team of executives & supervisors who are responsible for various production activities such as fermentation, MPR distillation & evaporation operation etc. 2. Adherence to procedures w.r.t. safety, quality, environment standards and responsible for delivery/dispatch of ENA as per month target. 3. Identify & support for productivity projects carried out by HO. 4. Working with S&OP for rough-cut-capacity-planning and identifying associated capex requirements 5. Practice Diageo’s dial-up behaviour & champion the embedding of a compliance culture within USL.
