Someone who is good with Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing. Besides that, he/she should also have good experience in Vulnerability Patching as well (end-to-end lifecycle). What you will be doing Individuals within the Coordinator/Project Management role have responsibility for activities that contribute to planning, coordinating, and driving to completion an IT vision and strategy aligned with the company’s strategic business plan. This role primarily coordinates and manages the remediation of vulnerabilities across IT assets distributed in our global data centers. Successful candidate will collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders to prioritize and coordinate efforts to mitigate security risks. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires excellent project management skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively across various teams and regions. Coordinator will also contribute to analyzing trends in technology, information security, assessing the impact of emerging technologies on the business, managing a team which provides solutions to address technology and information security issues aligned with business plans. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify, assess and prioritize remediation of vulnerabilities. Prioritize vulnerabilities based on risk and potential impact. Develop and execute a comprehensive remediation plan, ensuring timely resolution of identified vulnerabilities. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of remediation efforts. Monitor and track progress of remediation activities, providing regular updates to senior management. Communicate and report on vulnerability remediation status to relevant stakeholders. Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and industry best practices. Measures service providers performance and drives for SLA/KPI achievement. What your background should look like EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience. Normally requires a minimum of five to six years of progressively responsible related experience, including two (2) years of proven experience in vulnerability management and remediation projects, or equivalent role. Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability assessment, and threat intelligence. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) is a plus. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in using vulnerability management and IT Service Management tools and solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Requires demonstrated ability to launch and deliver one or more IT project(s) on time and within budget. ITIL certifications and relevant work experience is preferred. Agile certifications are an advantage. Direct exposure to Platforms (OS)/IT Network/Storage or Virtualization technologies management, operations and/or engineering management, Reliability, Engineering team management would be considered a significant benefit. Experience successfully managing complex Cyber Security Engineering or Operations projects would be considered a significant benefit. Understanding of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) system.
