Job Description: Key Responsibility Area-: Develop and execute strategies to optimize plant operations, enhance productivity, andachieve production targets while aligning with company goals. Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, including production scheduling, inventorymanagement, quality control, and maintenance to ensure smooth operations. Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, andcontinuous improvement. Promote a safe and positive work environment. Manage the plant budget effectively, monitor expenses, and implement cost-savingmeasures without compromising quality and safety standards. Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance protocols.Implement measures to enhance product quality and consistency. Identify opportunities for process enhancements, efficiency improvements, and technologyupgrades. Implement Lean manufacturing principles and drive operational excellenceinitiatives. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regularaudits, and promoting a safety-first culture among the workforce.Applicability Measures-: Oversee all daily operations of the plant from production and manufacturing to ensuringpolicies and procedures are followed. Sound knowledge of Welding, Electrical, Buffing, Assembly, Lane feeding, and PDI forquality output. Optimize production, resource use, and continuous improvement. Mentor teams for high performance and informed decision-making. Proven expertise in plant-wide production, diverse systems management, strategy, andleadership. Ensure adherence to regulations and safety standards. Processes development that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity. Overseeing the production process and ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance withregulatory standards Accomplishes department objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluatingdepartment activities. Experienced in managing production manpower ranging between 300 to 500.Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Proven experience of 5-10 years in a managerial role within manufacturing or production &automobile. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and driveperformance. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and regulatorystandards. Experience implementing Lean methodologies and driving continuous improvementinitiatives. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is advantageous. Strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive operational excellencewithin the manufacturing department.
