ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for heading the engineering function related to Hydrogen Generation EPC & Electrolysers as a key member of the management and provide the strategic direction for setting up of the organization for design & engineering functions of the business.
- Coordination with technology partner / licencor for all processes related to license, ensuring suitable implementation in the organizational processes.
- Should take lead role in the technology transfer from partner and implementation of systems and processes within the team including of compliance to any local codes and standards as required.
- Should possess knowledge of industrial processes, international codes & standards, computer aided design methods, engineering change management, product design & development aspects.
- Proposal Engineering: Ensures that proposals are largely meeting the customer requirement and competitive, develop specific optimized solutions for customer requirement, coordinates with all internal and external stakeholders for proposal engineering and timely completion of the proposal submission.
- Detail Engineering: Allocation of the resources to ensure timely issuance of the engineering deliverables for the project as per MDL, coordination with the Project team to meet the client’s / project requirements, interact with OEMs for necessary inputs.
- Lead operations programs, such as Value Engineering, Value Analysis.
- Should provide leadership support and necessary technical expertise in adjacent business functions including supply chain development, manufacturing and quality assurance, project management etc.
- Prepare the database of the various technical requirements of tender and prepare the standardize offering based on OEM inputs.
- Identify and develop the Engineering department’s competency in the new areas to build a multi-disciplinary team to support the business.
- Identifying the training needs of the subordinates and coordinate with HR for the necessary training.

Qualification: B.E./ B. Tech or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Critical Competencies for the Job:
- Handled Engineering function as HOD in the Organization for large and complex projects for Power / Oil & gas / EPC / Renewable Energy / Electrolyzer OEM’s.
- Well versed with functions, deliverables and documentation for Proposal and Project Engineering.
- Detailed & Proposal Engineering related to the Hydrogen Generation Projects including for Electrolyser.
- Coordination with the Technology partner for engineering input.
