We at SEDEMAC are on the look-out for a Lead Executive, Sourcing to join our stellar Supply Chain team.
Job Responsibilities
1. Implements sourcing plans with the goal of assuring specified quality, required delivery times and minimizing the total cost of the products and services.
2. Conducts RFI/Q/P (Request for Information/Quotation/Proposal) and bidding processes, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
3. Evaluates current and prospective suppliers through supplier reviews, site visits and audits, in coordination with Supplier Quality teams, to assure supply capabilities, on-time delivery, quality and service.
4. Negotiates prices and terms with suppliers to meet specified quality, delivery and cost objectives.
5. Executes contract negotiation and development in coordination with Contract Specialists.
6. Drives the parts and process qualification, in coordination with Supplier Quality teams. Coordinate with supplier & internal quality for sample approval, PPAP, PSW sign off.
7. Manage procurement of mechanical parts for production.
8.Effectively communicates with and maintains the highest degree of relations between the Company and all levels of supplier personnel.
9. Identifies opportunities and implements actions to continually reduce wasted time, money, and resources from assigned tasks.
Required Skills and Experience
1. Knowledge of layout inspection, PPAP,FMEA,MSA analysis & APQP.
2. Must have min experience of 6 years in development of Metal, casting, mached parts, coils, plastic, rubber parts for motors/magneto.
3. Knowledge of metal forging, stamping, casting, machining & moulding process.
3. Ability to read and review the mechanical drawing.
4. The ability to communicate effectively.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6 .Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
Education & Experience
• 8-12 years’ Experience
• BE/ ME /B.Tech/ M.Tech (Mechanical)
