Lead Data Scientist

Title: Data Science / AIML - Module Lead / Tech Lead Exp: 5 - 12 Years Location: Chennai / Bengaluru Job Description: LLM Technical Leads are responsible for the technical vision and execution of large language models (LLMs) at scale. They work closely with other members of the machine learning team, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to develop and deploy LLMs that meet the needs of the company's customers and users. LLM Technical Leads have a deep understanding of LLM theory and practice, and they are able to apply their knowledge to solve complex problems. Responsibilities Build analytic systems, predictive and LLM models Design, develop, and optimize LLMs for a variety of tasks, such as text generation, translation, question answering, and code generation Perform code auditing of team members to maintain proper coding standards maintained. Train and fine-tune LLMs using appropriate machine learning frameworks and tools Deploy LLMs to production and monitor their performance Lead the technical vision and execution of LLMs at scale Develop and implement LLM training and deployment strategies Collaborate with data scientists and senior data scientist to ensure that LLMs are trained on high-quality data Work with product managers to understand the needs of customers and users and develop LLMs that meet those needs Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in LLM technology Mentor and train junior engineers Qualification and other attributes Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) Overall 8+ years of experience in IT industry with 5+ years of experience in LLM development, with a strong portfolio of innovative LLM-related projects Exceptional coding skills in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch Experience with distributed computing systems such as Spark and Hadoop Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Lead the development of new LLM training methods and architectures. Develop and implement strategies for deploying LLMs to production. Monitor the performance of LLMs in production and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with other teams, such as product and engineering, to ensure that LLMs are integrated with other systems and products Stay up-to-date on the latest research in the field of LLMs and identify new opportunities to apply LLMs to solve real-world problems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership and communication skills
