We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Backend/Full stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side web application logic, while ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the server-side applications.
As a Back End Developer, you will work collaboratively with other members of the development team to deliver robust, scalable, and secure web applications. Your responsibilities will include identifying and resolving technical issues, optimizing server performance, and ensuring the seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in back-end development and be proficient in multiple programming languages, such as Python, Java, Golang or Ruby. A deep understanding of web architecture, RESTful APIs, and database technologies is also crucial.

Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance server-side web application logic.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that meets industry standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness, with a focus on minimising load times and maximising user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into the development process.
- Collaborate closely with the lead, fellow engineers, and product team to deliver new products and features on time and within scope.
- Ensure that development is aligned with overall architecture and project goals.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive feedback on code quality and best practices.
Necessary Skills:
- Strong understanding of computer science and engineering principles most likely obtained through a combination of advanced bachelor or academic study and relevant professional experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in back-end development
- Proficiency in any one or more programming languages like Python, Golang, JavaScript.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases. Preferably MongoDB and Postgres.
- Experience with blockchain technology is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Being able to work effectively with a high degree of autonomy
- Ability to write high-quality and well tested code
Desired Skills:
- Experience with front end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.
