We are currently seeking an accomplished and strategic-minded Senior Lead Inventory Manager to oversee our inventory management operations. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record, optimizing inventory processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Lead Inventory Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic inventory plans to support our business objectives and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as procurement, sales, finance, and operations to align inventory management initiatives with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of inventory data and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and enforce inventory policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Lead inventory forecasting and demand planning processes to facilitate accurate inventory replenishment and allocation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory management processes, systems, and workflows, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
- Prepare and deliver insightful reports and presentations to senior management, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on inventory performance analysis.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in inventory management to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in inventory management, with a demonstrated track record of success in leadership roles.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in inventory management software systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Deep understanding of inventory management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM) or supply chain management is preferred.
