The role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Architect to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust Business Intelligence solutions to meet the strategic data needs of our organization. The BI Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business requirements, and develop scalable and sustainable data architecture to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
BI Strategy and Planning :
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data and reporting needs.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive BI strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable project plans.
Data Architecture:
- Design and implement end-to-end data warehouse architecture, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Oversee the development of data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies.
- Collaborate with database administrators and data engineers to maintain data integrity and security.
BI Development:
- Lead the development of interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality BI solutions that meet business requirements.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of BI applications.
Data Governance and Quality:
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices.
- Implement processes for data quality assurance and metadata management.
- Work towards creating a data-driven culture within the organization.
Training and Support:
- Provide training sessions for end-users on BI tools and best practices.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for BI applications.
- Collaborate with the IT support team to address and resolve BI-related issues.
Relevant Background
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
-10 years of proven experience as a Tableau Developer in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
-Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
-Solid understanding of database concepts, SQL, and scripting languages.
-Experience with E-commerce data and metrics is a plus.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-Strong understanding of storytelling, UI/UX design and relational data modeling
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
-Experience in of Agile Scrum methodology.
-Familiarity with BI administration/architecture in Tableau and Power BI
