We partner with Legal teams across Accenture to build efficiencies and centres of excellence related to Legal services; and through our size, geographic spread and language diversity, the Global Legal Network is able to drive quality, agility and speed in our services, aligned to Accenture’s relentless focus on maximum efficiency and operational effectiveness.CORE and Global Services (CGS) is a group of legal professionals working and supporting different legal areas such as Compliance, Regulatory Offerings, Ethics, Procurement, Corporate Matters and the Services Areas aligned with the new offerings and technologies such as Strategy & Consulting, Interactive, Technology, Security and Operations.Procurement, NDA and Colocation & Software License Management - Role Summary- Support DCN Legal team within CGS functional area in India in:Procurement, NDA and Colocation- Performing the due diligence, documenting and reviewing terms and conditions and negotiating through procurement contracts/sub-contracts, proposals, agreements, statements of work, NDAs and other documents relating to various operating groups; and assist in performing due diligence to ensure process compliance and risk mitigation in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.Software License Management –Reviewing the End User License Agreement/License terms of various commercial and non-commercial software requested for installation with in India Delivery Center; and assist Legal Services within License Management area to review, evaluate and recommend whether Accenture has right to reuse/redistribute assets such as software, tools, applications developed by Accenture, based on related third-party licenses and associated IP rights, and to define the scope and limits of Accenture's use and reuse of such assets.Risk & Compliance–Conducting detailed and relevant research of various regulatory provisions, notifications, bills, laws, rules, guidelines, directives issued by different governmental and regulatory bodies from time to time affecting the legal framework around various business offerings; and reviewing all documentation, policies, rules, laws and regulations, terms and conditions relating to various operating groups to ensure compliance of all internal and external documents in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.Management Level DescriptionComplexity:Requires analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems.Interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors.Likely has some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management.Authority: Requires minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments.Impact or Decision: Impact Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of othersScope: Individual contributor and/or oversees a small work effort and/or team.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Generic ResponsibilitiesUnderstand the CGS areasUnderstand relevant company policiesCommit to enhance knowledge & efficiency in context of the support areaUnderstand company's approval processes and ensures that all stakeholders are timely engaged and informed on the relevant processAssist team in drafting checklists, process documents and generic tracking reportsDirectly liaison with internal stakeholders on various issuesRecognize issues and provide timely escalation to Team Lead or appropriate stakeholdersUnderstand and suggest process improvements in the support areaProvide on the job training and support to the new joiners of the teamSupervise resources, as requiredSupport implementation of new initiatives in the support area or within Legal/GLNBuild credible and effective relationships with onshore counsels and within GLN teamSupport tech team in development of new tech tool or enhancement of existing onesManage SharePoint and communication recordsSpecific Responsibilities aligned to RoleReviewing of contracts/sub - contracts, proposals, agreements and other documents relevant to CGS functional area strictly on need basis for process compliance.Provide assistance in negotiating the access related documentation and other contracts in collaboration with the account CM or legal counsel, ensuring proper risk mitigation before permitting colocation arrangement for Accenture client and client’s third party;Independently conduct Compliance and risk analysis for commercial software used in project solutions.Compliance and risk analysis for usage of software, tools, applications -developed by Accenture; reusable technical assets (applications) for global licensing.Independently Review, evaluate and recommend whether Accenture has right to reuse/redistribute software, tools, applications developed by Accenture, based on related third-party licenses and associated IP rights, and to define the scope and limits of Accenture's use and reuse of such assets.Review, evaluate and recommend, the rights and restrictions involved in a software license agreement, end user license agreement for both commercial and non-commercial software and analyze the associated risks in using the software on Accenture owned devices in accordance with the users intended scope of usage.Independent handling of the requestors, understanding the business requirements and advising on the process compliance.Collaborating with internal stakeholders regularly for process improvement and tracking the requests and generating reports quarterly and annually for the leadership.Maintain process compliance in line with company policies and procedures and ensure issues are resolved and escalate to line manager with issues;Directly liaising with internal stakeholders and deal teams on various legal and commercial issuesSound research skillsEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Law.Certifications and Membership: Compliance related global professional certification considered a plus.Work Experience:Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience at law firm or as in-house counsel and/or in legal outsourcingWork Requirements:Travel may be requiredFluency in English (and other language, depending on geography supported) with strong oral and written communication skillsSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:Basic awareness of Accenture offerings and function specific services performedUnderstands commercial agreements, legal and compliance principlesUnderstands general corporate business practices and contracting regulationsDemonstrates promptness, accuracy and consistency with the activities supportedDemonstrates ability to work under pressure, with exposure to senior managementAble to assist with day-to-day support and to understand delivery requirementsDetail-oriented, sound judgement, prioritization, organized, and adaptableGood at using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Comfortable with technology and has experience in the use of tools & databasesEffectively manage priorities and stakeholder expectationsDemonstrates keenness to learn and train on new processes and areasTeam player who looks to build trust-based relationships;
