ERP Developer

Barnes Group, Inc., Molding Solutions is looking for a talented ERP developer to join us on our transformative journey. As part of the Molding Solutions Global ERP team, you will enhance, create, and maintain new and existing customizations, as well as support the organization with future cloud-based ERP migrations. Documentation and adherence to our corporate change management process is essential, as is the timely resolution of day-to-day and project-related support issues. You will work within a multi-national, multi-cultural team in order to implement new business automation solutions that incorporate the latest technologies in cloud computing, SAAS, and enterprise resource planning. A background in manufacturing is key to understanding the needs of the organization and in ensuring that today’s challenges become tomorrow’s successes. Core Responsibilities:

1. Provide ERP system development and technical support for our Molding Solutions ERP systems (SAP and Epicor).

2. Integration of third-party interfaces and solutions, whether via add-on modules, applications, or REST services.

3. On-hand programming support in ABAP & C#.

4. Change Management documentation via the ServiceNow platform.

5. Assist in the installation and support of CAD/PLM interfaces as needed.

6. Assist in daily problem resolution with end-users as needed.

7. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Key Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience required.

2. 5-10 years of experience in development; background in manufacturing / production.

3. Solid understanding of SAP functional modules (good foundation in ECC6, SD/MM/PP; FI/CO optional).

4. SSRS, SQL, .NET.

5. Business-competent English knowledge and communication.
