Who is the Scrum Master at Linecraft AI?

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with a strong understanding of running agile scrum teams to join our team at Linecraft.ai, an industrial IoT product company. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience as scrum master, with a proven track record of running high velocity sprints. As a scrum master you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of the Scrum framework in Wipro Linecraft AI.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Facilitating workflows in a Scrum environment, ensuring that team members follow through on their respective duties and responsibilities.
• Acting as a facilitator and coach, fostering cohesion and effective implementation of the Scrum framework within the Scrum and development team.
• Capacity and Velocity Monitoring : Continuously assessing the team's capacity and velocity, using metrics such as story points and hours to forecast the continuous improvement a team can accomplish in future sprints, which assists with planning and setting realistic goals.
• Capacity and Velocity Optimization : Holding regular retrospective meetings to discuss what went well and identify areas for improvement, minimizing context switching, and reducing frequent shifts between different tasks or projects to enhance the team's overall performance.
• Capacity and Velocity Adjustment : Adapting the team's capacity and velocity based on factors such as team size, skill level, and the complexity of user stories, ensuring that the team is functioning efficiently and productively.
• Mentorship and Communication : Providing mentorship to both the Developers and the Product Team, ensuring seamless communication and the effective operation of the team.
• Impediment Removal and Resolution : Identifying and eliminating obstacles that may hinder the team's progress, spanning from technical issues to team dynamics. Additionally, proactively removing barriers between the Product Team and the Developers to enhance overall team performance and productivity. Resolving impediments faced by the team and providing training to help them overcome challenges, thereby increasing the organization's overall efficiency.
• Understanding business and user requirements to prioritize the product backlog and manage risks.
• Focusing on delivering product value through coordination.
• Demonstrating continued drive for process improvements, thinking out of the box to motivate and encourage team members.
• Collaborating with the product team to prioritize, plan, and deliver the product.
• Working closely with engineering, QA and other stakeholders to deliver on time
• Ensuring the backlog is populated with enough prioritized user stories that are ready to be estimated for the next two sprints.
• Communicating openly and frequently with the team by being responsive to in-person prompts.
• Working with designers to ensure timely delivery of designs to the engineering team.
• Advocating for an iterative development approach, working closely with designers to measure success of the solution and inform product improvement.
• Helping innovate and iterate on agile PM processes always working to find ways to improve.

More about you:

• You have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in agile scrum methodology, with a proven track record of bringing complex products to market.
• You have an in-depth knowledge of Agile methodology and Scrum framework.
• You have strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• You have a proven track record of driving agile practices within a software development environment.
• You have an ability to predict sprint velocity and ensure accuracy of planning and estimation.
• You are a highly motivated self-starter, technology enthusiast and eager to make an impact.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Certifications:

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar certification is preferred
