As an Indirect Sourcing Buyer at Sterlite Power, you will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement of indirect goods and services to support the organization's operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure cost-effective sourcing, supplier management, and procurement processes for various indirect materials and services. You will contribute to the company's cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: • Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for indirect goods and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency. • Cost Optimization: Analyze and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or service levels. Continuously monitor and drive cost reduction strategies. • Procurement Process: Develop and execute procurement strategies and policies for indirect materials and services. Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure compliance with established processes. • Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in the indirect sourcing process. • Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure a stable and uninterrupted flow of indirect materials and services. • Contract Management: Manage contracts, agreements, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with suppliers, ensuring compliance and enforcing contractual terms when needed. • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and provide data-driven insights to support decision making and optimize sourcing strategies. Qualifications: • Proven experience in indirect procurement or sourcing, preferably in a corporate setting. • Strong negotiation and communication skills. • Familiarity with procurement software and tools like SAP • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement activities. • Analytical and problem-solving skills. • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. • Strong organizational and time management skills.
