Job Title: QA Automation Lead Engineer Job Type: Permanent Work Location: Hyderabad Experience: 8-10 years Responsibilities 8+ years of experience in automated testing with expertise in Automation Testing, Cypress, JavaScript. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases Develop and maintain test plans, test strategies, and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration, regression, performance, and stress test Participate in building QA team Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery. Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products. Communicates quality standards and parameters to QA team, product development team, and other appropriate staff. Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Quick learner and should be quickly delivering the tasks on a regular basis. Requirements Proven work experience in software quality assurance Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases Hands-on experience with automated testing tools Knowledge of SQL and scripting Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process Strong analytical skills and able to work independently. Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus BE/ME degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
