Designer (Electrical)

Location : Gurgaon

Reporting : This position shall be reporting to Product Head/ Project Manager

Job function : Renewable Energy


Role :


As a Renewable Energy (Solar) Draftsman, you will be working under the Project Manager/ Design Engineer for the projects for general drafting and electrical drawing in 3D environment.


Roles & Responsibilities –

Having an experience of working in the field of drafting for electrical drawings works.

The experience should include drafting of solar related projects.

Having the experience of working in 3D software (BIM-Revit)

Experience in generating bill of quantity from the drawing.

Working knowledge in preparation of overall layout, trench layout, lightning layout etc.

Thorough working experience of BIM-Revit.

Experience in template setting and annotative text setting for layout in AutoCAD and BIM-Revit

Some working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required.

The work may require extra effort to complete the jobs on time.

Familiarization/ experience for making the library in Revit software.

Person will take the responsibility for complete physical engineering with some support from Engineer

Experience:

4~ 5 years of experience in drafting of electrical works for power plants or other industries including solar project, in consulting/ EPC design office. Major experience of working in renewable energy industry will be an added advantage.

Able to communicate in English

Strong interpersonal skills

Self-disciplined and demonstrated capability to work in multiple projects as a team member

Good organizing abilities and good in prioritizing tasks and co-ordination with other disciplines


Required Qualification

Diploma in Electrical Engineering or as a minimum, Certificate from ITI recognised by state government for Civil CAD/ Drafting/Revit – is essential.
