We are urgently looking for Product Head Womens Wear for a well known designer label/retail Brand based in Mumbai. CTC Up To 25-230 LPA


Someone have prior experience in product buying, merchandising, design, Brand Philosophy & Conceptualization,Product Design, Booking of styles, Buying Management, Fashion Forecasting & People Management, Apparel Design & Innovation.


Desired Skills & Experience:

• Qualification: Graduate/ post graduate degree

• Experience: 10 - 15 years of industry experience with hands on experience in product design, conceptualization and development

• Industry Preference: Retail/Textile

• Gender Preference: NA

• Key Skills: relevant Fabric Knowledge, Thorough understanding of product, Production Process Knowledge, buying management.


Job Description:

A) Brand Philosophy & Conceptualization

• To Analyze the market and monitor current fashion trends, collections, customer preferences and competitor activities for fashion forecasting and to give broad direction to individual brands

• To ensure whole Design team is aligned with Design ideology right from team of designers to sampling, production team and external stakeholders. To Lead and provide overall creative direction to the brand by conceptualizing and developing range for different seasons.


B) Product Design

• Manage and supervise the activities of the team ensuring that the brand philosophy is reflected in the final product. Set clearly defined guidelines and plan the design range as per sales budget

• Monitor and ensure precise designs are offered in order to maintain high design success rate and achieve targets, Ensure desirable level of design approval ratio and give regular feedback in order to make clear decisions on the design range.


C) Booking, Buying Management

• "Booking of Styles: Forecast Sales numbers style/region/location/season wise and finalize numbers for Production in discussion with CEO and Designers at the time of Range Presentation (Weekly Presentations).

• Fit Session (Trial) during range presentation to forecast hot trends, style would work better in the market. Dependent on MRP and category. " Ensure base Qty for each counter is pumped in beginning of the season, track and maintain optimum base Qty at all times.

• Plan for Store Merchandise and ensure stock availability in all stores for various sections of the stores and be cost conscious about Logistics.

• Monitor timely delivery of products in right quantity and right place.
