Technical Coordinator for Performing Arts

The Technical Coordinator at KNMA will play a crucial role in the execution of our productions, work closely with internal teams and third-parties to ensure that events and performances runs smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with the technical skillset and experience to work in the performing arts industry; dance, music and theatre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • with event management or production vendors to deliver a high standard of technical support for events.
  • closely with all relevant departments to timetable events, and ensure that there is appropriate capacity, including availability of equipment.
  • that all technical support is catered for and delivered cost effectively in line with the brief, tech riders of the performers/ artists and agreed budget.
  • and monitor equipment hire, ensuring that administration and processes are conducted in accordance with the department’s guidelines.

Requirements:

  • qualification: Bachelor's Degree
  • Work Experience: 1 year
  • and current knowledge and experience in the following production areas is ideal: Stage management, Audio engineering and recording, Sound/Light design and board operation, Audio/visual equipment operation (computer, data projector, projection screen, portable sound system, etc), Run crew.
  • communication and interpersonal skills.
