We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Organizational Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness by optimizing resource utilization and implementing strategic people and organizational development initiatives. The Organizational Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving change management efforts aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.


Roles and Responsibilities


1. Strategic Planning and Implementation:

  • Contribute to the design and execution of people and organizational development strategies.
  • Manage change initiatives in alignment with the organization’s strategic and operational plans.
  • Provide information, advice, and services to support organizational development efforts.
  • Prepare training calendars at the beginning of the financial year where training needs are identified for the employees.


2. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, particularly Admin, Operations, and Finance, to implement organizational performance improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and buy-in for organizational development initiatives.


3. Culture Development:

  • Maintain and foster a positive and achievement-oriented work culture.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion by establishing policies and practices that support these objectives.
  • Evaluate existing practices and policies to ensure alignment with diversity goals.

4. Training and Development:

  • Assess training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver training sessions and workshops.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend adjustments as needed.


5. Performance Measurement:

  • Measure the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, retention, and job satisfaction.
  • Develop employee retention plans and a robust employee referral program.
  • Educate employees regarding evaluation philosophy and standards of performance in advance. Provide examples of what constitutes “exceeds expectations”, “meets expectations”, and “needs improvement”.


6. Employee Engagement:

  • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement strategies to recognize and reward employee contributions.


7. HR Strategy and Compliance:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures that support organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and keep abreast of changes that may impact HR practices.
  • Familiarize employees with the overall ethos of the organization. company's values, norms, and vision.
  • Audit the existing HR policies and procedures manual and/ or employee handbook to make sure that the given details provided are relevant to the current industry/market scenario.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in organizational development, change management, and strategic planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business operations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in Organizational Development or Change Management (desired).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role.
