Roles & Responsibilities:

Proactively gather client requirements and specifications, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs. Translate these requirements into detailed system requirements.

• Develop comprehensive business processes, flow diagrams, procedures, and work practices to encompass the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with suppliers to define critical part features, establish sampling plans, and conduct process capability studies.

• Undertake advanced statistical projects including Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Regression, and Hypothesis testing.

• Manage a Quality Management System (QMS) by documenting incidents, implementing fixes, and driving continuous improvements.

Develop and implement Best Known Methods (BKMs) to streamline processes, updating quality documents as needed.

• Design and implement a supplier scorecard strategy, actively working on enhancing the scoring system.

• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders throughout the onboarding, execution, and delivery phases of projects.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or related engineering
  • 2-4 years of professional experience working in the Quality Assurance/ Statistical Process departments of Manufacturing/ Service industries.
  • Proficient in communicating in English. Must have Skills:
  • CMM Programming: Expert knowledge of Calypso software for creating efficient and accurate CMM measurement programs. This includes defining measurement routines, selecting appropriate probes, defining tolerances based on GD&T, and generating reports.
  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Interpretation: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and translate GD&T symbols into measurable features and tolerances within the Calypso software.
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operation: Understanding CMM functionalities and capabilities to optimize program execution and ensure data accuracy.

Good to have:

  • Inspection Experience: Prior experience in using CMMs for parts inspection across various industries would be a plus.
  • Metrology Knowledge: Understanding of metrology principles and best practices for dimensional measurement.
  • Quality Control (QC) Awareness: Familiarity with quality control procedures and their role in manufacturing.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to troubleshoot program errors and identify potential measurement issues.
