Taking a significant step towards enhanced pilot training in India, Simaero India is establishing an 8-bay, EASA & DGCA India ATO approved Full Flight Simulator (FFS) facility. Expected to open soon, this comprehensive center boasts a convenient location just 15 minutes from New Delhi's IGI Airport. The facility will feature advanced simulators alongside a dedicated classroom with Computer-Based Training (CBT) for a thorough training experience. Prerequisite With a minimum of an Engineer’s degree in Aeronautics/Computer Science/Electronics/Mechanics, you have at least 5 years of experience in the field of flight simulation (maintenance, support or conception). You are dynamic, autonomous and rigorous, and you demonstrate good communication skills. Job introduction Within SIMAERO Engineering Business Unit, you will integrate a team of simulator engineers/experts. You will report to Software Project Manager and will perform missions over simulator’s maintenance and upgrade projects for SIMAERO’s internal need or for the benefit of our customers. Your typical working structure will consist in: Develop upgrade projects and innovative solutions according to strategy of management Analyze the system requirements and write technical specifications Participate to software architecture definition and its V-cycle Performing and/or supervising upgrade process remotely or at site Develop and maintain technical documentation for the upgraded simulator systems Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of upgraded simulator functionalities to ensure they meet operational standards and regulatory compliance Performing acceptance with the customer Providing certification support for the customer during evaluation by Civil Aviation Authorities Keeping a professional and proactive communication with the customer in a timely manner throughout the complete relocation project assuring customer’s satisfaction Handle complex problems analysis and resolution (recurrent failures, obsolescence management, innovative solutions development) Contribute to renewal of technical solutions and products Work on Simaero’s continuous improvement according to ISO 9001 certification Required skills Have a solid knowledge in computer science for software and application development with user interface (C, C++, [in particular QT], Fortran, Assembly language) Have a solid knowledge of aeronautics, aviation industry (aircraft systems, aerodynamics, basics of flying, communication buses) Technical skills to handle and diagnose complex technical problems, ability to evaluate, to isolate and repair the defects Ability to produce and maintain technical documentation Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring, electronic and technical documentation Ability to assess, isolate and repair failures Know how to use the measuring/test equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, power supply, ...)
