We are hiring for the role of finance leader for the Issuing Business. In this role, you will be responsible for
managing financial reporting, business finance, revenue assurance and treasury.
Responsibilities we entrust you with
Partner with the business teams in understanding the business projections and forecasts Define and manage the end-to-end reconciliation and balance confirmation processes in alignment with the business expectations Present detailed profitability, revenue and trend analysis against the plan as per defined timelines Define and manage the process of credit approvals and reconciliations with the relevant stakeholders Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to ensure all financial activities are conducted in accordance with company standards Manage treasury operations, the organisation’s financial assets, liquidity and risk to ensure optimal cash flow, financial stability and profitability Provide guidance, analysis and detailed assessment of financial and cash flow health to the business Identify opportunities of increased Revenue levers by working closely with business teams Keep a watchful eye on the spends keeping Cost control optimisation as an objective. Drive key and strategic initiatives to ensure business is prepared and best positioned to respond to industry changes, legal changes, fiscal shifts or sudden and unpredictable global changes to financial health and cash Manage relationships with banking institutions, negotiating favourable terms for banking services, credit facilities and investment opportunities Prepare capital expenditure budgets in alignment with the expected revenue and drive adherence to the budgets Work with the accounting team to ensure accounting records are accurately maintained and all financial transactions are properly recorded Manage RBI reporting, statutory and internal audits as per defined timelines and ensure a clean audit report Explore opportunities for automation and drive automation of billing, reconciliation and cash flow processes
What matters in this role
Relevant work experience Financial forecasting, reconciliation and accounting Proficiency in INDAS, IFRS and understanding RBI guidelines Firm grasp of financial markets, risk management techniques, cash management systems and banking instruments Expert knowledge of accounting procedures and financial reporting practices (India and Global) Experience in the fintech domain across issuing and acceptance (prepaid, credit, debit, forex processing, merchant acquiring and payment acceptance) will be a major plus. Flair for automation OKR Driven approach Years of experience Masters in Finance or CA with 12+ years’ experience in statutory financial reporting, business finance, treasury and revenue assurance roles.
