Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Optimization Architect with over 6+ years of experience, specializing in the optimization of AWS components. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in rearchitecting existing platforms, specifically focusing on Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, multi-tenancy integration, and achieving significant improvements in cost, compute, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure and services, with a focus on EKS, Kubernetes, VPC, Serverless, Cost Optimization, Best Practices of AWS, and WAFR.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions that meet business requirements.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members.

- Experience with advanced AWS networking concepts such as Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPC peering.

- Expertise in designing and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions using AWS services such as Multi-AZ deployments, Route 53 failover, and AWS Backup.

- In-depth understanding of serverless architecture principles and experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB for serverless applications.

- Expertise in AWS security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC security groups, and encryption at rest and in transit, and experience in implementing security controls for complex architectures.

- Experience in optimizing AWS costs through resource tagging, budgeting, and using AWS Cost Explorer and AWS Budgets to monitor and control costs.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture principles and experience in designing and implementing microservices-based applications using AWS ECS, EKS, or Fargate.

- Ensure security, scalability, and performance of AWS environments.

- Develop and maintain documentation for AWS architecture, processes, and procedures.

- Stay current with AWS best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification preferred.

- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing AWS solutions.

- Deep understanding of AWS services, including EKS, Kubernetes, VPC, Serverless, Cost Optimization, and WAFR.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch and ELK stack.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

- Knowledge of database technologies, especially AWS RDS
